Tribal Fitness was established by Nichola Jarvis in 2011, when she started running a small outdoor exercise class for other local mums, to help keep herself ‘sane’ in the early post-pregnancy stages! However, fast-forward 18 months, and that one class a week had escalated in to multiple classes, in various locations, with Franchise Instructors coming on board, product development, and hundreds of ladies joining The Tribe! Whaow!
Tribal Fitness Bootcamp sessions were born out of Nichola’s two passions – nature’s gym (i.e. the great outdoors) and having FUN when exercising! Too often she has heard over the years that people hate dragging themselves to the gym to work out in a sweaty room full of cloned equipment and dodgy air conditioning, not to mention paying a regular monthly fee, joining fees, or expensive personal training costs… so this has driven Nichola to provide flexible and affordable exercise sessions for ladies of all abilities in the fresh outdoors, as well as offering fun indoor courses for those ladies who prefer not to brave the Northern Ireland weather! Her own experience of being a mum led her to ensure specific exercise sessions for new mums and their babies were a regular part of the timetable. Tribal Fitness enables new mums to meet each other and gain quality exercise guidance from fully qualified postnatal instructors, while taking away the need for childcare costs or arrangements, as Nichola believes the babies should be part of the session.
You are guaranteed a friendly service at Tribal Fitness, as Nichola and the other Chiefs understand the importance of feeling comfortable and enjoying your workout time. The Tribal Fitness staff are there to encourage and support you and to help you maximize your individual potential at each session; although catching up on the latest celebrity gossip is important too! Tribal Fitness is very much a Social Tribe, and the ‘extra-curricular’ activities certainly make it one big happy Tribal community!
