Ever sat at home looking at all the fun we have at bootcamp thinking, “I’d love to have a go but I’m not fit enough?” Maybe you’re worried about coming because you have no one to bring with you? Think you couldn’t keep up? Thinking, “but everyone else there already knows each other and I’d be left out?”

I get it, I was once there myself. I was so nervous coming to my first session about what was to come, worrying about everyone being in cliques, worried the exercises would be too hard and I wouldn’t be able to do any of it. All perfectly understandable feelings when you haven’t been before.

Meet Glynis, one of Bangor Tribe’s most loyal members. You can always count on Glynis to break the silence in the middle of a hard set with a funny comment or two to have us all rolling round in stitches. (see, it’s not all serious!) She had a lot of these feelings too before she came. Here’s what Glynis had to say to you.

“I used to feel very intimidated by exercise classes and felt if I didn’t turn up with a friend, I was on my own. I really wanted to try a Tribal Fitness Bootcamp but was worried it would be all tyre rolling and piggy back races, lol! It’s not! I’m so glad I gave it a go, we just all turn up rain or shine, have a bit of a moan about the weather and then have fun training together. Chief Susan is so encouraging that you never feel that you can’t do it. I would recommend Tribal to anyone, at any level. It’s a really friendly group”.

Thanks so much for your kind words Glynis! We are so happy to have you in the Bangor Tribe. Looking forward to big things in 2017!
