Have the experience of a pizza, but without the high carb content. The meatza provides a high protein content instead, and you can make it to your own taste too. It’s a win win! Great to have with a salad/green veg. And you can simply add a sweet potato to the meal if you need more carbs on those training days with Tribal!


1 Kg turkey mince
1 egg
1 finely chopped onion
1 crushed garlic clove
1 cup of chopped tomato sauce
1 large sprinkling of oregano
Choice of toppings, herbs & spices to taste


Heat oven to 230c / 450 F
Mix the mince, egg, onion and garlic together
Spread the mixture on to a pizza pan or baking tray and cook for 10 minutes
While this is cooking, you can fry your chosen topping ingredients, eg peppers/bacon, to soften them
Remove meatza base and drain any excess juice
Spread the chopped tomato sauce on top and sprinkle on oregano
Place your raw or pre-cooked toppings on to the base, along with any herbs and spices to taste
Replace in oven to cook until golden
